Ruthin win their fourth game in succession with a 4-1 win against Llanfair.
Jordan MacCarter got Ruthin off to a flyer with a goal within 2 minutes and Ruthin dominated the first 10 minutes. Llanfair grew into the game and had a good spell when they hit the post and the impressive James Davies had a shot well saved by Dylan Jones in the Ruthin goal.
Ruthin then hit the bar and the game was in the balance when Kevin Evans scored with a fine header from a corner just on half time. The 2-0 half time score flattered Ruthin and Llanfair came out in the second half with purpose. Garmon Hafal deflated the visitors scoring with a fine header at the far post from an excellent cross from Jordan Maccarter. To theircredit Llanfair were not finished and James Davies, who had been a threat all game, gave them hope on the hour as he ran through to score.
Both teams pushed forward in the last half hour but it was Craig Wilkinson who finished the game with a fine team goal on 71 minutes giving Ruthin another three massive points.
