Huws Gay cup holders Caernarfon Town went out of the competition in the first round in the derby match at Porthmadog. After a goalless first half two goals within ten minutes of the restart from Joe Chaplin and Cai Jones saw Porth defeat Caernarfon for the first time in nine years as they progressed to the second round
