Jonathan Hill Dunt: The signing of Dunty was a real coup for the club with his Welsh Premier experience with Prestatyn. He has appeared for Wales Schoolboys, Rhyl, Llandudno and Chester City at youth level before breaking into Prestatyn's first team. Jon was a key man in Prestatyn's 2005/06 Welsh Alliance and 2006/07 Cymru Alliance title-winning squad and a man-of-the-match award in the 3-1 Welsh Cup Final defeat of Bangor City saw him play in the Europa League the following season. This is Dunty’s third season with Gresford.
Max Peate: Local lad who started his career at Gresford Athletic. Max is an experienced central defender who has played in the Welsh Premier League. This is his second season at Gresford since returning from Denbigh Town, having previously featured for Technogroup Welshpool and Cefn Druids.
Jamie Price: Jamie joined Gresford at the beginning of the 2014/15 season from Flint having played previously for Conwy and Ruthin. Welsh Schoolboy International at Under 16, 17 and 19 level and was on the books at Everton and Wrexham prior to undertaking a soccer scholarship in the USA.
Jack Jones: Excellent central defender with a vast amount of Huws Gray Alliance experience, having previously featured for Buckley and Ruthin Town
Ben Nash (On Loan from Gap Connah’s Quay Nomads): Nash is a promising young defender who has come through The Nomads Academy and was part of The Nomads' first ever Coleg Cambria Scholarship programme. Nash debuted for The Nomads in pre-season action against a Tranmere Rovers XI, and then made his full debut against The New Saints at Park Hall in December 2014.
Nathan Williams (On loan from Airbus UK Broughton FC): Left back Williams is on loan from Airbus UK where he featured heavily in the first team squad in pre-season.
Gareth Williams: Talented midfielder who was a professional at Wrexham. He also spent time in the USA on a soccer scholarship at Tusculum University. Played for Bangor City in the Welsh Premier league and featured in the European campaigns of 2003 and 2004.
Josh Griffiths: Josh is a cultured central midfielder and was signed by Cefn Druids from Wrexham's Academy in the summer of 2008 progressing into Druids' Welsh Premier squad. He left to join Airbus UK Broughton in July 2011 and, after a season with the Wingmakers, signed for Conwy Borough. Came to Gresford at the beginning of the 2014/15 season.
Jack Mountford: A very hard working midfielder who came to Gresford from Llay Welfare few seasons ago. Probably the fittest member of the squad and if he can stay injury free will be a pivotal member of the team.
Tom Wells: Tom has improved season on season and is a very comfortable player on the ball. Had a brief spell at Chirk AAA in 2014 but returned to the WNL league winning campaign and put in a number of impressive performances.
Rhys Lloyd: Local young player who moved up from the reserves during the 2014/15 season and made a claim for a place in Eddie's squad winning the league title in 2015. He has an eye for goal and is expected to get better and better with age.
Jack Challenor: Athletic midfielder who has signed from local rivals Brymbo FC. Jack stood out in the last couple of seasons when the two sides have met and Eddie was very keen to get him signed on for the 2016/17 season.
Tom Freeman: Pacey attacking midfielder / striker who has signed from Chirk AAA following rave reviews in the 2015/16 season. Tom has impressed during pre-season and we have big hopes for him this season. (Left for Chirk AAA in September)
Craig Pritchard: Excellent central midfielder who was snapped up by Huw Griffiths at Cefn Druids from Castell Alun FC as a 16 year old and was a member of the squad that got promoted to the Welsh Premier League last season. Eddie sees Craig as another important addition to the squad for the 2016/17 season.
Owen Roberts: Owen is one of the most feared strikers in the league and has been on the radar of a number of clubs. Scorer of many important goals for the Gresford and can play up front or out on the wing. Top goal scorer at the club for the last two seasons.
Mike Latham: Mike returned to Gresford in 2014/15 and was pivotal in the title winning season scoring over 25 goals. An attack minded midfielder, Mike made a number of appearances for Cefn Druids in the Welsh Premier League He has also played for Penycae and Lex XI in the Huws Gray Alliance.
Sam Richardson: Sam joined Gresford at the beginning of the 2014/15 season having shone for Penyffordd and made an immediate impact in front of goal. Has also played in the West Cheshire league for Christleton and Chester Nomads.
Jake Ayre: Former Sheffield United trainee, Jake was a regular in The Blades Under 21 side but did not feature in the first team. He was released in 2013 and joined Stocksbridge Steels before signing for Airbus and then Rhyl during the summer of 2015.
Jake Roberts: Young striker who has signed from Penycae for the 2016/17 season. Previously spent a number of years with Cefn Druids.
