FAW Tier two league formed in 1990


At the Huws Gray Alliance AGM held at Holyhead Hotspur the constitution of the league for season 2018/19 was confirmed, he following teams will participate in the league:

Gresford Athletic
Holyhead Hotspur
Holywell Town

Prestatyn Town
Ruthin Town

Seasonal awards were presented to the winners by FAW life vice president Trevor Lloyd Hughes


Club of the season – Airbus Broughton

JO Hughes fair play award – Caersws

Manager of the season – Sean Eardley (Caernarfon Town)

Player of the season – Llyr Morris (Ruthin Town)

Programme of the season – Airbus Broughton

Leading goal scorer – Llyr Morris (Ruthin Town) twenty-eight league goals

Prize money and memento were presented to league Champions Caernarfon Town and Huws Gray cup winners Flint Town United

Runners up in the league and cup, Denbigh Town and Gresford Athletic also received prize money

Buckley Town and Conwy Borough also received prize money for getting promoted the first season after being relegated

The Huws Gray Alliance season 2018/19 will commence on the weekend of 10/11th August
