FAW Tier two league formed in 1990

Penrhyn

Penrhyncoch manager Gari Lewis took time out to give the league's website his views

OPINION OF YOUR CLUBS PERFORMANCE LAST SEASON

Last season we finished absolutely brilliantly going 9 games unbeaten and I thought we were tight and compact with a real threat on the counter attack

AMBITIONS FOR THE COMIMG SEASON

Coming season is going to be even tougher and it seems every season becomes harder and more competitive but that’s why it’s such a great league

NEW PLAYERS AT YOUR CLUB

We have Luke Sherbon Rhydian Davies and Liam James all experienced players and a real talent each of them. They have blended in very well preseason and we’re looking forward to seeing them play

GROUNDS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING AND WHY

Cae Castell Flint is one place where we have done well in the past along with a visit to Bangor City and Rhyl of course real football grounds

PLAYERS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING AND WHY

Les Davies is a signing that springs to mind but in all honesty there are some really big players in this league now and it seems each club has stepped up again this season

WHO DO YOU SEE AS IN CONTENTION FOR THE LEAGUE TITLE

Contention to me are Bangor Rhyl Airbus and Flint but such is the League there’s no easy game nowadays and if you want to be in contention then you’ll have to be at the top of your game for 30 games otherwise you can come unstuck that’s for sure

HOW COMPETITIVE DO YOU THINK THE LEAGUE WILL BE NEXT SEASON

It’ll be the most competitive ever I assure you

TEAM WHO COULD SURPRISE A FEW

Ruthin Will surprise a few along with Denbigh and Gresford

PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR

Again this league now attracts many good players too many to mention but Rory Crowther at Rhyl and Shaun Cavanagh at Porthmadog

THIS IS THE LAST SEASON OF THE HUWS GRAY CYMRU ALLIANCE – ANY MEMORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE

It’s been a few years since I first came involved in the league and what’s hit me is how it’s grown both on and off the field and it’s the league to be

OPINION OF THE NEW FAW PYRAMID

The new FAW Pyramid will be a breath of fresh air and we should welcome it with open arms

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD
Good luck to all and we’ll hopefully give you all a typical CPD Penrhyncoch welcome when you visit Cae Baker
