THE HUWS GRAY ALLIANCE

FLINT

Flint Town United mamager Niall McGuinness told the league website that competing at the top is their aim

OPINION OF YOUR CLUBS PERFORMANCE LAST SEASON: As a club our league position as a whole wasn't acceptable & showed the lack of consistency showed as a group. To win the league cup and finish 8 games unbeaten towards the end showed we began to click at the latter stages. We will be hoping to take this into the new season.

AMBITIONS FOR THE COMIMG SEASON

As a football club we are aiming to compete at the highest level within the league. No game is a given this season, so we will have to be at our very best week in week out. Our current ambition is to win our 1st game at home to Holyhead & take it game by game from there.

NEW PLAYERS AT YOUR CLUB

We have completed a number of signings this summer: Mike Williams, Sam Hart, Tom Kemp, Kai Wallis, Luke Blondel, Myles Hart, Ryan Smith, Jack Higgins

GROUNDS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING AND WHY - Belle Vue - is the obvious one having spent 8 years there it will be nice to return there. I'm also looking forward to Bangor City & Porthmadog as both are fantastic pitches.

PLAYERS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING AND WHY - Most of all I'm looking forward to watching our squad and how we click as a group competitively. We have a few good young footballers within our side that could really excel this season.

WHO DO YOU SEE AS IN CONTENTION FOR THE LEAGUE TITLE - The obvious favourites are Bangor City & Airbus UK, but I would like to expect ourselves to be challenging along with Rhyl & Porthmadog.

HOW COMPETITIVE DO YOU THINK THE LEAGUE WILL BE NEXT SEASON - I think it's the most competitive it's been to date. The quality within the league now is excellent & there is some great managers involved which will make the league even more challenging
.

TEAM WHO COULD SURPRISE A FEW

Ruthin Town, Prestatyn Town & Denbigh Town

PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR - individual players away from our club - Alex Jones at Prestatyn an ex player I've worked with & I know what he's capable of. Gwion Owen Ruthin Town was very impressed with him last season & think he will only get better. Kieran Ellis Prestatyn Town stepped up from lower leagues a real powerhouse striker could cause teams a lot of problems.

THIS IS THE LAST SEASON OF THE HUWS GRAY CYMRU ALLIANCE – ANY MEMORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE

Obviously on a personal note for me I have only been involved for 1 season. So the highlight for me is winning the league cup it was a Fantastic day for all involved at the club

OPINION OF THE NEW FAW PYRAMID

Looks positive and it's great that the FAW are continuing to progress football in Wales at all levels

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD - Would just like to wish all Managers, players & all the hard working people involved at all the clubs the best of luck for the season ahead
