Bangor City have unveiled the club’s new manager as Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

The Bangor City website confirmed the appointment with the stement below

Gary is a very popular and familiar name and face to all in English and Welsh football as well as the CITIZENS.

He also had an exceptional professional career which spanned over 15 years with clubs such as Blackpool, Hull, Millwall, Leicester, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Tranmere among others.

He then spent 18 fantastic months with the club which resulted in Bangor finishing 4th & 2nd in the and securing European football for the first time in a number of seasons.

Most recently Taylor-Fletcher has been playing for Llandudno in the WPL where he has scored 3 goals in as many games.

When we spoke to him earlier today this is what he had to say: "I am delighted to be back as manager of Bangor. I am really looking forward to the challenge and to keep the hard work that Ste & Luke have been doing over the last month going. The team are on an excellent run of form and we look forward to our trip to Rhyl on Friday".
The new boss went onto say: "I will be giving it my all once again to ensure that we are prepared as a team for every game and I will also be back on the pitch if and when I am needed. Keep the faith! Fletch"
