The club is offering up the match shirts worn on the day for auction to the public. Club Director Darren Griffiths confirmed : “We are taking email bids for the shirts which are numbered from 1 to 17 (excluding 13) so when placing an offer bidders can specify a preferred shirt number but will also have the opportunity to be allocated an alternate shirt number depending on the value of their bid. We wanted to give as wide an audience as possible and profits from the auction will be shared with the Football v Homophobia initiative to support their campaign of inclusion for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people through the medium of football.”
