Airbus Broughton clinched a league and cup double after defeating Holyhead Hotspur in the Huws Gray cup final ay Conwy Borough infront of an impressive attendance of four hundred and twenty seven

The wingmakers got off to the best possible start as James Hopper put them ahead after seven minutes a lead they held at the break. Ten minutes into the second half Chris Jones brought Hotspur level with a far post header. Eight minutes later Airbus regained the league as Hopper netted his second of the game  Asa Hamilton added a third for for Airbus three minutes later before Holyhead had goalkeeper Carl Jones dismissed after bringing down Lewis Buckley in a last man incident. Airbus then clinched the double with goals from Ryan Edwards and substitute Harvey Ellis

In the league Flint Town United came from behind against visitors Prestatyn Town to clinch the runners up spot. Alex Jones gave Prestatyn the lead after eight minutes but by half time Jack Hampson had drawn the Silkmen level and a Mark Cadwallader goal in the second half gave Flint the runners up spot

Nathan Leonard celebrated his last game in charge of Guilsfield with a goalless draw againt visitors Holywell Town whose tier two position now goes down to the last Saturday of the season

In the only other game of the day Llanrhaeadr YM and Bangor City shared four goal and the points. YM led at the break thanks to a goal from player manager Mark Griffiths. Gethin Thomas drew Bangor level two minutes after the break with player manager Gary Taylor Fletcher putting them ahead before Griffiths had the last say with an equaliser for YM
