Gari Lewis – 24/7/74 – An Aberystwyth Town Legend having made over 350 appearances in the Welsh Premier League. Has now been Manager since 11/12 season – a UEFA A Licence holder Gari is also the Director of Aberystwyth Town Academy. Never say die attitude and leads from the front. Gari is a local Penrhyncoch lad born and bred and is proud to manage his local village.
Aneurin Thomas – 27/1/73 – A veteran of nearly 400 Welsh Premier games for Llanidloes, TNS, Newtown and Aberystwyth – a no nonsense centre half who like Gari is a born and bred Penrhyncoch lad. ‘Fred is going to get you’ – what a chant that was from the Aber faithful.
Barry Morgan – 13/8/80 – Another Aberystwyth Town Legend with over 300 appearances for them in the Welsh Premier League – a former Swansea City player having made 5 appearances for the first team. A native of Ceredigion. Now doing his Coaching Badges and coaches in the Aberystwyth Town Academy.
Gabriel Burcea – 7/7/92 – signed in the pre-season when spotted playing on the Universities Astro Turf – Florin is a very skilful player with a sweet touch – has played for Slovakian side NK Celje.
Dafydd Carruthers – 6/10/97 – another who re-signed in the summer from Rhayader – despite scoring regularly for the Red Kites last season his goals could not prevent them returning to the Spar Mid Wales League -= bags of pace – a defenders nightmare.
Antonio Corbisero – 17/11/84 – Corbs is another Welsh Premier Legend having started his career at Newport County and Swansea City he joined Llanelli where he won the Welsh Premier League, Welsh Cup and League Cup and has made 300 appearances in the Welsh Premier and 18 in European Competitions. What a signing for the Roosters.
Liam Doherty – 6/1/00 – a Cardigan lad who has come through the ranks with Gari at the Aber Academy – a young lad he may be but what potential this lad has – will only improve this season and has an eye for goal.
Elian Evans – 20/5/87 – Mr reliable is our Elian – what an engine – this boy can run all day – a tremendous Club Man who once played for our 3rd Team before stepping up to the firsts in 10/11 season.
Jon Foligno - 26/6/81 – like a good Italian wine this lad gets better with age – now a stalwart of the Club – a former Captain and now leads by example – a tough cookie this one.
Mark Gornal – 7/9/82 – Has probably the best left foot in the League – now in what must be his 15th season with the club – can play anywhere and has done for us – a true Rooster.
Harri Horwood – 24/4/00 – young Harri is another youngster from the village who has come through our Junior ranks and Aber Academy – another with a sweet left foot and bags of pace – one to watch.
Sion James – 3/2/80 – After 12 years and nearly 350 appearances for Aberystwyth Town in the Welsh Premier local born and bred – he has returned to bolster our campaign in the Cymru Alliance – still as fit and as brown as ever – what a true athlete.
Owain James – 21/5/90 – Club Captain and another local born and bred lad to represent his local Club – Penbanc joined from near neighbours Bow Street in the 13/14 season and has been the power house of our midfield ever since. Owns more dogs than the queen
Leigh Jenkins – 16/10/91 – Yet another local born and bred lad – played for the Club since the age of 6 and apart from a 3 month spell at Bow Street in the 13/14 season has only ever played for Penrhyncoch – a strong reliable and able goal keeper – Supporters Player of the Year 15/16.
Aaron Lemon – 13/7/89 – Irishman Lemon has played for the Club for the past 4 seasons and has developed into a very fine attacking midfielder – scored some vital goals for the Club and has become a very valuable member of the team.
Gareth Mansell – 17/11/87 – signed from Knighton Town in pre-season – Mans is a player you hate playing against but love playing with him – a strong combative midfielder who never shy’s away from a challenge.
Sion Meredith – 18/1/78 – Sion is another player with Welsh Premier Experience with Carmarthen and Aberystwyth Town – is also a commentator for S4C on Live Welsh Premier games for Sgorio - how fit is this lad – you won’t believe it a real warrior.
Matthew Mousley – 16/11/90 – New Quay based Matt is in his 3rd season with the Club – having played in the Welsh League with Newcastle Emlyn – can play anywhere and has a big heart to go with his ability.
Josh Shaw – 22/10/89 – Shawsy is so laid back you won’t believe it – has played for Aberystwyth Town in the Welsh Premier but another local lad born and bred who now plys his trade for us. Big, strong and a nightmare to get off the ball – Josh is a mainstay of the team.
