Iwan Davies (Full back) (21) - A very effective full back who’s family have strong connections with the club. His father played full back for Ruthin with distinction for many years and his uncle was also a very good midfield player. Another product of our youth system Iwan has returned to the club from Llandyrnog and has previous Huws Gray Alliance experience with Ruthin.
Jak Newall (Full Back) (24) – Strong tackling defender who put himself in the firing line every time. Another fine player who has come through our system. Jak joined as a 11 year old in 2003 and continuous to develop into a first class defender.
Danny Jelicoe (Centre Back) - Another player who has returned to the club and has long Huws Gray Alliance experience both with Ruthin, Denbigh and others. A tough uncompromising centre half, with no lack of skill, who can organise the back four.
Kevin Evans (Centre Back) – Recently returned to the club from Llanefydd. Cultured midfielder who has converted to centre back. Comfortable on the ball with excellent distribution. One of the best players to play for Ruthin in recent years.
Chris Williams (Player Manager) – Another midfield player who has converted to centre back, reads the game well, two footed and a good tackler, a leader on and off the field and an excellent player. Joined the club as a 11 year old and has a great deal of experience having played for many clubs in the Vale of Clwyd and beyond. His father was one of the best players ever to put on a Ruthin shirt. He also managed the club - on three separate occasions.
Osian Davies (Midfielder) (21) – A young midfielder who plays with maturity, good feet and strong in the tackle Osian has rejoined the club this season. He can play in the centre or as a wide man and will play a big part this season.
Craig Wilkinson (Midfield and assistant manager) (33) – Joined Ruthin as a 11 year old in 1994 and went on to join Cefn Druids at 16 and then Preston North End. A very good midfield player with two good feet and exceptional close control. A player with a lot of experience at this level and beyond.
Ilan Hughes (Midfield) (23) - Another who has returned to the club and has family connections. His father was a midfield general during the 80’s. Ilan is an excellent midfeld player with a good touch and a wide range of passing. He has Huws Gray experience with Porthmadog and the argument continues as to who is the better player – him or his dad.
Tom Jones (Midfield) (19) - Joined Ruthin as a 15 year old and has returned after a spell with Rhyl Academy. A highly skilful player with plenty of ability on the ball and an eye for goal. Another who’s father played for the club although Tom might shade that competition – just!
Adam Harvey Davies (Midfielder) (19) – Joined Ruthin at the age of 11 in 2000 but was snapped up by Wrexham two years later. He had 6 years at Wrexham before returning last season. A strong, pacy midfield player with good control and two good feet.

Llyr Morris (Striker) (20) - Joined Ruthin as a 11 year old in 2007 and was a great prospect even then. He has since developed into an excellent striker. Will Owen (Striker) (16) – A great prospect who has come up from the u16’s last year. He has also been with Bala Academy. Strong, fast and with a great shot for such a young man. He has already shown his quality and we have high hopes for Will developing into a real player.
Luke Appleby (Striker) (24) – Luke has joined us after having an excellent season up front for Llandyrnog last season. He works tirelessly, is always looking for an opportunity and is a natural goal scorer. He is another who doesn’t give defenders a moment’s peace, will undoubtedly score goals this season
Cai Parry (Striker) (18) – Recently signed from Porthmadog. A young lad with a bright future, a confident player with pace and a lot of ability. A great addition to the squad.
